An action packed year of UQLS Sport is to ensue in Semester 2!

Get involved, meet new people and enrich your law school experience by getting in on some of the hottest sporting events at UQ. The UQLS line-up for the rest of the year is not to be missed.

UQLS Social Sport 

UQLS runs a multitide of Social Sport teams - Whether you’re awesomely athletic, sporadically sporty, or even unusually uncoordinated – we want you! Touch, Netball and Soccer are all played at UQ St Lucia Campus.

UQLS Running Club

Chasing after ambulances can be tiring, so this year we thought we’d try out a running group. If you’re keen to get to into shape join us on our weekly run as we work towards competing in the Bridge-to-Brisbane fun run! Re-Starts week 1 -  25th July!

When: 6:15pm, Every Wednesday of Semester 2.
Where: Outside the UQLS Office (Room W227, Forgan Smith Building)
Why: Are you still asking questions, we’ve already given you all the information?

Law Cup & Rugby Grudge Match

QUT and UQ go head to head in both of the Law schools’ most ferociously feared sports-related showdown. In the day, Netball and Touch games will run with some of Brisbane’s most renouned Law firms, and Law students from QUT, UQ and Griffith, and will be followed by the ultimate grand-slam  event of the year – the UQ vs QUT Rubgy Grudge Match. An afterparty will be taking place at the Red Room.

When: 29th September, 2012
Where: UQ St Lucia Sporting Fields (Netball and Touch Fields)

UQLS Capture the Flag

Kash and I, having experienced a few improptu Capture the Flag games on campus at night, have been inspired to organise one through the UQLS. In the event that a game is organised, a public Facebook event will be created during the Semester and the date, posted on this page and the UQLS Facebook. If you would be keen to participate, please don’t hesitate to give us a quick email with questions/suggestions.
