BE PART OF GO GLOBAL 2012

Have you gone on exchange? If you answered YES! then we would love for you to submit your exchange story for the upcoming 2012 edition of Go Global.

If you are unaware, Go Global is a publication put together by the UQLS that showcases the stories and experiences you as a UQ Law student had while on exchange. The purpose is to demonstrate the possibilities available to any UQ Law student who wishes to go on exchange. We are hoping to showcase articles from as many locations and individual perspectives as possible.

Your submission should be around 900 words in length and may be subject to editing (for size and potential liability reasons).
What should your submission include? Good question. Besides the basics of your name and where you went, feel free to talk about your experiences on exchange; what it meant for you to go, the difference in the education styles, what you were able to study, the people you met, the places you visited, and any new outlook on life you’ve gained, etc. If there are a couple of pictures that you feel encapsulate your experience feel free to pass them along as well. If you need some previous examples or are wondering what it will look like when it’s finished take a look at the online edition of Go Global on this website.

I look forward to including your submissions and making Go Global 2012 an inspiration for other would be travelers. If you are interested in providing a submission follow this link to a Google Doc to enter your submission. There are a few questions there to help you compose your submission.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 1 June.

If you have any questions or require further details please contact Chad via C.Hardy[at]UQLS.com.
