It’s that time again! PALS is on THIS week, covering how you should attack SWOTVAC, study smart (not hard), and other useful tips and tricks leading into your finals for Torts, Legal Method and Law and Society.

Details are;

Tuesday 21st May – 4-6 pm in 84A – 304 (The same as last session)

Thursday 23rd May – 10 am – 12 pm in 24-S304 (The same as last time, and same location as Monday Legal Method lectures)

Once again, if you can’t find where to go, feel free to go to the UQLS office to be pointed in the right (not One) direction!

2nd Years!

Stumped by the sea of authorities you have for contract? Not sure of the difference between certainty of agreement and certainty of terms? Never fear, UQLS PALS will be running this week, with a focus on Contracts and some discussion of Constitutional Law too.

The sessions are run by previously high-achieving students who can give you insight on tips and tricks to study smart, and attack these courses.

The sessions are;

Your covering letter should include your current GPA (in law) and evidence of any experience in mooting and/or public speaking that you may have. Prior mooting experience and/or public speaking is an advantage but not a pre-requisite for selection.

Students who have already represented (or been selected to represent) the School of Law in external mooting competitions in 2013 should not apply.
